There is a lot to say about the amazing impact of retinol (vitamin A).  So much that we wrote a blog about ours.  This gentle 2.5% concentration is a nightly must-have for us to boost collagen, brighten, and smooth skin.   

Contains 2.5% Rovisome retinol, a highly stable, potent form of Vitamin A, which penetrates deeply to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, makes your skin look more plump, and helps to even out tone and texture.

In the evening:

  • After cleansing, pat on the Retinol Serum and let it soak in fully
  • Add face oil or moisturizer on top as needed

What if I feel tingling after applying Asutra Anti-Aging Serums? 

  • Don’t worry - the active ingredients are sinking in and working. As your skin becomes more used to the serum, the tingling may subside over time. Also, don’t worry if you don’t feel anything as everyone’s skin sensitivity is different.

How long until I see results from using the Anti-Aging Serums? 

  • It usually takes about three weeks for the serum to take full effect but it also depends upon the skin type. You may see results in as soon as 2 weeks in the form of firmer, more hydrated skin, or in a decrease in wrinkles (or both!) 

How and when should I use the Anti-Aging Serums? 

  • We recommend that you use the Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C serums in the morning before you apply any sunscreen and makeup.We recommend you apply Retinol at night before a moisturizer. 

The serum looks thick and cloudy

  • The serum ranges from thin/clear to thick/cloudy as there are no synthetic stabilizers. Neither the color or texture impacts the effectiveness. So yes, you can still use it and it is still effective!

Can I use these serums if I am pregnant? 

  • Yes, it is safe to use during pregnancy, however, we recommend consulting your physician before using any products while pregnant.

I've been using this serum

"I've been using this serum 2x per day for about a couple of weeks, and while I can't say I see a super noticeable difference, I do like the way my skin feels. I don't find it to be as drying as some users did, but I still apply moisturizer over it in the morning especially (with at least a 15 SPF) I'm going to continue to use the Asutra Retinol serum and see if maybe I'll notice more or different results after more consistent use."

I love the light weight

"I love the light weight formula. I put about a pea size on my problem areas and I've been noticing a gradual change in my smile lines. It's a little sticky and drying after you apply it to a washed face. But once I let it absorb in the skin I immediately apply vitamin c and moisturizer and it gets rid of the tight feeling. It's great if you pair it with a moisturizer after the retinol completely absorbs. It's great for my sensitive skin."
